I think that you should vote for Obama if that is how you really feel. But McCain is a better vote for Conservatism than Obama. Here's why. . .

Obama has never given a concrete plan of the steps he plans to follow on how he will accomplish the "Change" he is so fond of taking about. The “Change” is still “empty” , just like the candidate. I have never seen a candidate get so far with so little content. I guess that explains the average American’s mentality. That is scary.

Why is race a part of this campaign? Mr. Colin Powell helped show that race is a big part of this campaign. The tone of this campaign is all wrong. It should not be a “Us vs Them” mentality. It should not be a “black and white issue”. I thought we put that issue behind us. I guess not because Obama has always put race in his campaign since the beginning. A campaign should always take the higher road. It should always be about who is the best for our great country. Not race. Running on a race ticket is not the way to go.

It is clear, under the Democratic Party, that our freedoms listed in our great Constitution along with the Amendments and our Bill of Rights should be thrown out. Now, the Democratic Party has not said this audibly or publicly, but it is clear with their actions. This party is slowly moving the United States toward Socialism by destroying the American way of Life by voting time and again for raising taxes. Now to be fair and clear this point is occurring on both sides of the Isle. The Democrats have repeatedly voted against the right to bare arms. Great Britain has found out that outlawing guns has not stopped criminals from obtaining guns. You see, outlawing guns only helps the criminals by giving them unfair power. They do not care if guns have been outlawed. They are going to get guns regardless. No, outlawing guns punishes the average law abiding citizens. Those law abiding citizens can not defend themselves from the thieves and murderers that roam the streets looking for helpless prey. No, these crooks do not care if guns are outlawed. Except, when they have a gun and you do not. Think about that next time you are waking down a dark street in Anyplace USA.

 The Democratic Party has repeatable made it harder and harder for law abiding citizens to obtain the right to bare arms as listed in our Constitution, by making concealed laws, by raising fees, by background checks and by taking classes. I do not remember any criminals going through this process. I do however remember guns with no serial numbers with silencers and being sawed off to make is smaller and easier to hide. Where are the paperwork and classes they need to take? So much for protecting the average law abiding citizen. Ok, Democrats do not want the average citizen to protect themselves.

Now, another Constitutional right; Freedom of speech. Conservative talk radio is a given right under our constitution. But Obama and the Democratic Party want to destroy this right. No one is stopping the liberal network anywhere in the US (Satellite Radio or Terrestrial Radio) from putting on their liberal views. If these liberal networks and shows cannot survive by the advertising revenues generated then maybe, just maybe, they need to rethink their programming and networks. Maybe Obama, Mr. Clinton and Mrs. Clinton can help in raising funds to make the liberal networks and shows be more profitable.

The conservative programs and networks are making enough revenues to continue as they are. They are profitable! Maybe there is a reason. . . Why does Obama and the Democratic Party need to use unconstitutional measures to spread the liberal point of view by destroying freedom of speech? If the liberal point of view is so important, then why is liberal media not profitable enough and why are the audience numbers not there?

Now, this brings me to Religious Freedom. The Democratic Party and Obma have over many years repeatable attacked Religious Freedom by removing, and outlawing prayer and public display of Religious Rights. The United States is a very open nation to Religious Rights. Our Constitution gives us this right as a US Citizen. But prayer has been removed from every public forum imaginable. Our great Nation was founded on Religion and Prayer. The Pilgrims came for Religious Reasons and so did many other individuals. We are a nation based on Christian principles, In case you have forgotten! The Democrats want you to forget this fact. “God” was mentioned several times in various founding documents. “God” must have been important. So why is ‘God” not important in the Democratic Party, today Obama? Why is racism more important?

Why is our Nation more concerned with destroying the American Way of Life? Why are we not concerned with getting back to our roots? Why are we not finding ways with downsizing our oversized government? Why are we not engaged with cutting governmental costs? Why are we not finding ways to help build small business, promoting free markets, cutting taxes, enforcing our Constitution, and electing candidates that want to make our Nation strong? We are Americans. We are not European Americans, Black Americans, White Americans; or any other label you care to list before the word American. We are Americans! Period! If you Mr. Obama or anyone else, do not like the American Way of Life then leave! There are plenty of other nations that you can choose from. So go ahead and choose. Go back to Europe, France, Africa, or where ever your ancestors came from to find what you are looking for. Because here in America We Are Americans First! We speak English, We pray, and we believe in God! And we believe one Nation Under God. We believe in rights, in families, in freedoms, in Religion and we are Proud Americans!

When did we stop believing in our Great Nation? We are proud! The American way of Life in fact does work. You can be anything in America. Look, Obama, you are a presidential candidate. Stop doing what is bad for America. Stop sending our jobs oversees and to other nations. Stop penalizing small business and for that matter all business. Stop penalizing the American tax payer. Let the tax payer keep more money. Now that is a true “stimulus package”. We have not become a great nation by more laws but by fewer laws. If you do not believe in this, then leave the US. You are not wanted here. There are plenty of other Nations to choose from.

Now, McCain is closer to these beliefs than Obama. Do not vote for Obama because he is ”Black”. Vote for a candidate by the criterior set forth by the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to not judge by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. Do not choose a president because of his skin color, or because you do not want to break your family voting tradition, or because you are not voting for Bush. But vote for Obama because you believe he is the best candidate and is good for America and he will do what is right for America.
